Matching Red Paint

"Just in case anyone has a red bike I've found some paint that any bodyshop should be able to make that is quite a good match for a red bike. The code is YM21B and I believe its an old benelli colour."

Benelli Red, Using Debeer Paint
Redback Racepaint, in Canberra, have come up with the following mixture.
On a pink base coat - not exactly sure what "pink" is.
Paul did the following:

Debeer Weight Unit
537 112.2 gm
558 64.7 gm
519 11.9 gm
(This is Ducati Red.)
Take 63.4 gm of Ducati Red after thinning 1:1 (by volume) and added an extra 5 gm of 558 to come up with the final coat.

To make 200ml of Benelli Red, using Paul's formula:-
Debeer Weight Unit
537 99.6 gm
558 85.9 gm
519 10.9 gm
Remember to use a pink base coat
When I work out what "pink" is, I'll let you know

Benelli Superbike Decal

The pdf in the Documents section of the Benelliforum, has a black stripe between each of the colours of the Italian flag, following "Superbike". Here's a .eps file that's been corrected

Panel Stone Guard

Kits are available for the Tornado, that will provide some degree of protection against stone damage to the leading surfaces, including the headlamp. I have installed a headlight protector from AMHP, and my major issue was the total loss of paint at the lower extremities of the bottom panels, as a result of riding on gravel roads, so I was only interested in protecting them. No one does a kit that just covers this, so I made my own.
If you want to do the same you can download the .dxf file.
This one has 10mm added to the front, rear and bottom edges that will wrap around the panel for extra security.
